Class Description

We designed this course with a unit study approach! Each science unit is an assortment of various activities, experiences, and types of learning to revolve around each topic. To organize learning we will use the Purpose, Materials, Procedure, Results & Why format. During our class time, we will have lecture, journal & lab/experiments. Experiments are hands on & use critical thinking. We will cover the below BIOLOGY topics. Class schedule every Friday @10:30-12noon 24 weeks total Sept 13, 20, 27 Oct 4, 11, 18, 25 Nov 1, 8, 15, 22 (11 weeks) Dec & Jan - No Classes CELLS Cell model Cell reproduction DNA & GENETICS DNA extraction DNA model DNA replication, transcription and translation
